What are your Methods of Payment?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover
and American Express.
How do I place a Special Order?
Special orders can take from 2-10
weeks depending upon availability.
When your order is placed, we will
let you know the estimated time to
arrival. Please note
that Special Orders are ordered just
for you and cannot be returned.

Generally, once a child is wearing
24 months – you will then base
the size on age. On average – based
on what age the child is – your
best bet is to go up one size from
the age. (For example – an average
2 year old wears a size 3, an average
5 year old wears a size 6, etc.)

Personalized/Monogrammed Items
We offer monogramming and personalization
on many of our gift items. Personalization
of an item can take from 2-6 weeks
depending on the item. Information
for personalizing an item and length
of time required can be found on the
product detail-page for the item. Please
note that personalized and monogrammed
items cannot be returned.
What happens if the item is
Out of Stock?
Occasionally we run out of an item
due to high demand. If we do not have
an item that you have ordered in-stock
we will contact you via email. We do
not charge your credit card until the
item is ready to ship. Please note
that Special Orders and personalized
items are charged to your credit card
when the order is placed.
How will my order be shipped?
We ship packages Monday-Friday via
UPS. The rates are as follows:

Baby Baskets need to be shipped in
an oversized box and are a flat rate
of $15.00 per basket.
Can I get my purchases
Gift Wrapped?
The Nutshell offers COMPLIMENTARY gift
wrapping for all of your purchases.
We will package all of your gifts (separately
if needed) in white glossy boxes with
a Nutshell Sticker and beautiful colorful
bow. The bow colors are pink
for girls, blue for boys and green
or yellow for baby showers.
How do I wash/launder my
purchases?
Most of our items will have manufacturer
labels indicating the method of washing.
However, sometimes the labels do not
indicate the instructions. We always
recommend washing your items in cold
water on a gentle cycle and tumble
dry low. Please keep in mind
that any form of washing may cause
a little bit of shrinkage. Line
drying will eliminate shrinkage.
*Sweaters can be washed in the machine
and then laid flat on a towel to dry.
*Special Occasion dresses should not
be washed in the machine unless the
manufacturer indicates it is OK to
do so. Dry-Cleaning is preferable.
Return/Exchange Information
Customer satisfaction is a top priority
for us. We want our customers to be
happy. Please call us before
placing your order if you have any
questions about color, size, quality
or anything else. Once your order
is placed, we will gladly exchange
your merchandise for another size within
30 days of purchase. If you
have ordered a personalized or monogrammed
item, this item is not returnable or
exchangeable. Please call us ahead
of time with any questions at all.
